It’s hard to learn social and emotional skills when you’re sitting in a chair all day. Take the morning to embody your social and emotional learning by using simple tools that can help you track your emotions and needs, alleviate stress, connect with yourself and others, move beyond stiffness and into more freedom of movement. Participants will build their own practice of social and emotional learning by exploring the intersection of mindfulness (think meditation) and movement (think dance) in a fun and accessible way. In other words, it's going to be an early morning dance party. Come with clothes you can move comfortably in and be ready to move! All abilities welcome, no previous experience required, just an open mind.
