We can all agree that having program staff that are representative of the young people we serve brings great benefits-especially for communities of color. Equally as important and beneficial is ensuring that the opportunities and supports are in place for leaders of color in our field, but a racial leadership gap currently persists. In this session, participants will gain insights from leaders in the field about the importance of investing in systems that can effectively build the capacity of people of color-led organizations in order to expand their provision of quality ELO for youth of color and youth in poverty.
