Venture Philanthropy Partners’ Ready for Work initiative brings together partners from across different sectors to ensure more young people graduate from high school ready for career and college. Ready for Work is being implemented in three local high schools and its success depends heavily on the deep engagement and collaboration that VPP, as the backbone organization, has fostered with the school system, local government, employers, nonprofits and philanthropy to meet the needs of the students. Participants will learn how to identify the individuals and organizations that they need to build cross sector collaborations inside complex systems.
