Defined as “a state when no more of something can be absorbed,” saturation in the context of out-of-school time is when all young people across a community are getting access to and participating in rich developmental OST experiences—regardless of the program “brand” they are participating in. Come learn the different ways that systems set themselves up to work with diverse program models to infuse quality practices into their approaches while keeping their own brand identity—therefore achieving saturation of common practices without compromising diversity of content.
