Treehouse has doubled the high school graduation rate of youth in foster care over the past five years through its innovative Graduation Success program. The program uses a youth-centered approach to build self-determination and self-advocacy skills for a population that has few opportunities for agency in their own lives. Participants will learn about the impacts of mobility and trauma on the education outcomes of youth in foster care, review the elements of the program model, explore how the program is measured and refined, and be introduced to student-centered planning through tools and case studies.
