In order to use data effectively, intermediaries need to think about what to collect and how to use it. Over the past few years the RAND Corporation has been working with Every Hour Counts to study the quality of data that intermediaries collect, the measurement tools they use, they way they store, analyze and use data for improvement, and resources they rely on to carry out their data-related work. The work revealed challenges and solutions. Through this session, Every Hour Counts, city leads and the RAND Corporation will discuss lessons gleaned and ways intermediaries can more effectively collect and use data to improve opportunities for young people.
